Navira Careers ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Name, email address and phone number (via contact forms)
- Study-abroad preferences you choose to provide, such as target country, course or programme, university or college, intended intake/start date, current country and additional notes
- CV / resume documents when you explicitly submit them for a Navira service. The Opportunity Finder analyses the CV locally in your browser for matching; the CV file and its text are not sent to third-party job providers by this feature.
- Company name and hiring requirements (via Employer form)
- Job-search keywords and location filters needed to retrieve vacancy results. These are sent through our secure backend to our job-data provider.
- Browser-stored preferences such as saved searches. These remain in your browser unless you clear them.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to consultation requests and provide our services
- To match candidates with appropriate coaching and career programmes
- To connect employers with pre-screened candidates
- To retrieve and rank relevant job opportunities when you use the Opportunity Finder
4. Legal basis
We process enquiry data where needed to take steps at your request before providing a service and, where applicable, on the basis of consent. Job-search queries are processed only to return the vacancy results you request.
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiry and form data is retained for a maximum of 12 months unless you become a client, in which case we retain it for the duration of our engagement plus 2 years. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Google Workspace — enquiry processing, email notifications and lead storage
- Job-data providers — Jooble is currently used for Ireland and Adzuna for the UK to retrieve vacancy results. Your CV file is not sent to these providers by the Opportunity Finder.
- Relevant employers, where you have explicitly requested job placement support
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email connect@naviracareers.com.
8. Browser storage
The site may use browser storage for functional preferences such as saved searches. The current launch version does not enable Google Analytics tracking. If analytics is introduced later, the privacy notice and consent controls should be updated before activation.
